Insert-sewing-cutting units combine several operations of the technological cycle - assembling blocks with a tab in automatic mode, sewing with a saddle wire (2, 4, 6, 8 sewing heads), trimming finished brochures on three sides, cutting with a central knife (optional) for the production of double brochures, inserting cards, CDs and other products (as an option), punching calendar holes and others.

Speedmaster SM – 74 + 5+ Lak

The Speedmaster CD 74 series has been designed for short-run label and medium format packaging printing. Prior to drupa 2000, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG did not have machines in B2 format with double diameter impression cylinders. Therefore, the appearance of an offset press in the 50 × 70 cm format was due to market requirements for the manufacture of products for target groups of customers, an increase in the variety of products, while the size of individual runs fell. These trends, at a low cost per hour for an A2 machine, would make printing packaging and labels in this format cost-effective. A prerequisite for this is an automated, productive, easy-to-maintain printing press capable of short lead times. This is how the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 74 was created.
